Details of the cookies we use and why we use them are outlined below.
Understanding website usage
To better understand how our website is used and improve its performance we use Google Analytics cookies. Google Analytics is an analytical web service provided by Google, Inc. Cookies are used to collect information such as the time of day a visit occurred, which pages were visited, how long was spent on the site and to identify the point of origin and any search keywords used. This helps us to provide a better website experience and improve its performance.
Third party cookies
- Http headers: Anything present in HTTP headers. HTTP headers is a standard web protocol sent by default between any browser request and any server on the Internet. HTTP headers include IP addresses, information about the web browser, page location, document, referrer and user agent.
- Pixel-specific data: This includes the pixel ID and Facebook cookie.
- Optional values: Additional information can be sent about your visit through custom data events. Example custom data events are page type or service type.
The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of metadata such as IP address information, timestamp, and events (e.g. page views). All data is encrypted. The LinkedIn browser cookie is stored in a user’s browser until a user deletes the cookie or the cookie expires (there’s a rolling six-month expiration from the last time the user’s browser loaded the Insight Tag). Users have full control to block or delete cookies.
