Graham has been a Partner at Cheyney Goulding LLP since 1995. Graham Young trained in the City and was admitted to The Solicitors Roll in 1985. After qualifying Graham continued to work in the City, before joining Cheyney Goulding LLP as a Partner in 1995.
Graham has considerable experience in Commercial Dispute Resolution and can assist on a wide range of contentious matters. He deals with cases in the High Court, County Court and Employment Tribunals. He also deals with Commercial Mediations, Arbitrations and references to the European Courts.

With extensive experience in company and commercial matters, he takes pride in gaining a deep understanding of his clients. This allows him to take a proactive approach, ensuring clear, and commercially relevant advice.
As well as dealing with M&A, corporate structures, shareholder and investor relations and corporate governance, Tom also deals with a range of commercial agreements for businesses in relation to their customers and suppliers, including agreements for the supply of goods and services, distribution, agency, IT and intellectual property.
When he’s not spending his spare time with family, he enjoys running ultra-marathons.

Rebecca studied English and Russian at the University of Manchester before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the Guildford College of Law. She joined Cheyney Goulding in September 2008 and completed her training with the firm, qualifying as a Solicitor in April 2011.
Rebecca specialises in civil and commercial litigation and property litigation as well as commercial & residential property, including acquisitions and disposals (freehold and leasehold), commercial leases and landlord and tenant matters and construction. Rebecca also has experience acting for clients in a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including buying and selling private companies and negotiating and advising on commercial contracts. Rebecca also regularly acts for lenders and borrowers on asset backed lending and secured and structured lending transactions.

His approach to litigation is based around providing strategic and commercial advice, managing risk and ensuring that the client is aware of their position before committing to what may be a lengthy litigation process. Sam believes that mediation is a useful tool to help come to a potentially early resolution without incurring significant costs and time for the client.

David studied law at the University of Wolverhampton, trained in Cumbria and was admitted as a solicitor in 1995. Since then he has practiced almost exclusively in Property Law and therefore has a wealth of experience in Residential Conveyancing. David joined Cheyney Goulding in 2021 to head up our Property Department.
He brings with him a reputation for accessibility and clear communication, essential in providing a swift and stress free transaction.
In his spare time David enjoys Nordic Walking, archery and spending time with his grandchildren.

Sara enjoys camping holidays with her family in their Mazda Bongo camper van which they have taken all over the UK and have ventured over to France a few times as well.
